We are subject matter experts offering more than 24 years of experience in tuckpointing, masonry, restoration, caulking, and sealing repairs in commercial and residential buildings, which are affected by our harsh weather; wind-driven rain, sleet, and snow-abraded and penetrate facades. R&J did a great job on our 1978 white brick tuckpointing. We had a lot of minor repairs needed including repairs on our chimney and the handled them all and matched everything perfectly. Super efficient, professional, and reasonable. Highly recommend.

Rafael and his wife Erika make a great team! They are responsive and did a fantastic job replacing my 30-year-old chimney which had deteriorated and needed major replacement. Rafael was very patient, thorough , understanding as he could not find a replacement brick as the original was made in Canada and no longer manufactured or available in the states. He did a wonderful job matching it as best as possible. My wife , who is extremely picky, was very satisfied with the job. His crew is meticulous, professional, and very careful working and taking care of my property when they left nothing was a mess. All the garbage was picked up and you could barely tell that they were there. I strongly recommend using Rafael and his company are in J for any Tuckpointing or Mason rework. .

I called for a chimney/masonry consultation and expected them to offer an inspection, since their website lists chimney cap, caulking/sealing, tuckpointing, and masonry repair services. Instead, I was repeatedly questioned about how I knew the work was needed, who told me, and what report I was reading from. The woman who answered the phone repeatedly demanded I send her pictures of my chimney, I explained that I cannot get on the roof. She said to go get pictures of my roof and text it to her anyway. I was calling precisely because I needed a professional to inspect it. I was also asked strange questions about whether I was moving or selling my house. The whole interaction felt skeptical, unhelpful, and not very professional. She even asked me if the chimney consultation was for a house. What else would it be for, a boat??? Then she demanded to know what number I called in order to reach the company. The woman who answers the phone is a weirdo. I read back to her the phone number listed on the website and even then she didn't believe me! I also read to her the services listed on the web site that I needed them to take a look at and she wanted to know how I knew that. What in the world is going on at this company? Is that lady OK?????

I would absolutely recommend R&J Tuckpointing to anyone looking for a skilled mason who actually cares about his work. I needed someone to completely rebuild both of our chimneys from the roofline up and doing a lot of cleanup work around all of our windows. I received a few quotes and decided to go with R&J because of the time Rafael took to come out to look at the project and explain what he thought needed to be done. Our brick was very hard to match and they went well above and beyond to find ones that were almost identical. They are easy to communicate with and will get the job done the right way. Erika and Rafael run a great company and it was a pleasure working with them.

Rafael and one of his employees rebuilt one of our front porch stone columns in less than six hours. He came out promptly to provide the estimate and completed the work about a week later. His estimate was reasonable and the quality of the finished work was outstanding. Rafael was friendly and professional, as was the project manager who handled the scheduling and billing (Erika). I recently hired R&J to tuckpoint my ranch brick home, which had never been professionally tuckpointed in its 60 years. The RJ team did an excellent job addressing all concerns on the exterior walls and did an EXCELLENT job on chimney. The estimator came to our home quickly after our call. We discussed our problem and he understood the issues and indicated to me how he could resolve our problem. He took his time taking the measurements and determining the procedures to follow. The estimate was reasonable for the work proposed.
Once I accepted the contract R&J was there on the 2nd dry day and the work was done in the allotted time. It has rained since the work was done and we are dry.
